State Route 9 Saratoga Creek Bridge

Caltrans began construction on the Saratoga Creek Bridge Rehabilitation on State Route 9 (SR-9), Saratoga, CA, in the spring of 2023. This project maintained safe and stable connectivity along State Route 9 between the City of Saratoga in Santa Clara County and the community of Felton in Santa Cruz County. Caltrans recommended replacing the bridge, due to seismic and structural concerns. The rehabilitation project allowed the newly replaced bridge to meet seismic safety regulations.

Major work on Saratoga Creek bridge was completed in December 2023. Additional work including erosion control and landscaping is ongoing. All work is scheduled to be completed by the end of September 2024.
