South of Salinas Corridor Improvement Project
Project Description
The project would make highway and interchange improvements on US 101 between Chualar and Salinas. The project would include modifications to the existing corridor and existing road networks.
Project Benefits
Purpose
The purpose of the project is to reduce points of conflict to enhance safety along US 101 in a manner that maintains access to adjacent land uses.

- Provide safe and adequate circulation to adjacent lands for all users

The project is needed to address safety and operational deficiencies by improving the existing transportation network to support local and interregional traffic.
