Project Description

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to construct improvements on a 7.1-mile segment of State Route 41 in Fresno and Kings counties, approximately 6 miles north of Lemoore, from 0.3 mile north of the Excelsior Avenue Undercrossing to 1.0 mile north of Elkhorn Avenue. The project would expand State Route 41 to four lanes. The realignment would expand to the east, provide a 46-foot-wide median, redesign four intersections requiring right-of-way, update drainage, and construct a new northbound bridge at Murphy Slough.
